Friends of Rosarito's Children's
Bio-Intensive Gardening Project
January 28th we installed a prototype aquaponic garden at Magnolia Cocina Resturant in Rosarito Mexico. This is our prototype location in collaboration with the community and a big bonus is that staff is there to help feed the fish!
Aide Orantes, a local who holds a degree in Marine Fisheries Biology, is super excited about the project and lives close enough to walk over and keep an eye on ph levels.
Ricarbol Otoro Buho de Fuego, another local volunteer has an organic community garden in Tijuana and teaches at a Montessori middle school. Ricarbol is also very excited to support the project!

February 10th, we had a brainstorming session planing to expand into the 5 local high schools and involve students.
We Are One Foundation sees this project as a next level INspirational step in offering new and sustainable opportunities to the youth and communities in Mexico.
