We Need Your Help To Raise The Roof
Rhizome Revival is aspiring to build a weather-protected, multi-purpose classroom for year-round learning. This space will serve as a hub for hands-on training in sustainable farming, homesteading, and botanical medicine to build greater regional resilience.
Interest in sustainable food systems, natural living and community wellness is on the rise. However, our region lacks a dedicated space where folks can learn these skills through practical, soil-to-apothecary instruction.
Our new outdoor classroom will change that. It shifts our farm from a production-only site to an active community resource.
This project empowers folks to improve their household food security, embrace preventative wellness practices and launch small-scale cottage industries. Furthermore, the outdoor classroom creates a new revenue stream for our nonprofit through ticketed weekend and evening workshops - ensuring the program remains financially self-sustaining after the initial capital investment.
Funding this space allows Rhizome Revival to address the complex social and economic needs of our community such as food security, water conservation, soil health and sovereign wellness. This project will support approximately 1400 folks annually - providing them with the tools to grow food, preserve their harvests, and cultivate healthy living skills that span generations.
